2017 Conference Scholarship Info

 

For Students:  Thanks to the generosity of Eversource Energy, a limited number of scholarships are available for high school, college and graduate students interested in land conservation and environmental protection.

For Land Trusts in the South Central Regional Water Authority (RWA) Service Area:  Thanks to the generosity of the RWA, a limited number of scholarships are available to land trusts and conservation commissions in RWA service area towns. 

  • Scholarship applicant must be a first-time attendee to the annual Conference.
  • One scholarship is available for each of the following towns in the RWA district: Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Bethany, Branford, Cheshire, Derby, East Haven, Guilford, Hamden, Killingworth, Madison, Milford, New Haven, North Branford, North Haven, Orange, Prospect, Seymour, West Haven, and Woodbridge.
  • Priority shall be given to land trust board members and conservation commissioners but availability of scholarships is first-come, first-serve.

Just two left!  For Land Trusts in the Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut (CFECT) Service Area:  As a sponsor of the 2017 CT Land Conservation Conference, the CFECT has generously offered its three (3) complimentary registrations to land trusts in the CFECT service area towns. 

  • Applicant must be a first-time attendee to the annual Conference.
  • Applicant must be a volunteer or staff person with a land trust within the CFECT service area.  View the list of towns HERE.
  • Three land trusts will be eligible for one registration each on a first-come, first-serve basis.
