Attention land trusts, municipalities, and others interested in farmland protection!  If you are considering a farmland preservation project, and/or are interested in improving the management and use of farm properties on which you hold an easement or own outright, this session is for you.

Topics will include:

  • Technical assistance, including the Circuit Rider Program
  • State and Federal Easement and Conservation Programs
  • CT Dept of Agriculture Grant Opportunities
  • Partnering Opportunities
  • Leasing farmland and finding farmers 

There will be ample opportunity for Q&A.
