Friday, November 14, 2014
9:30am - 12:00pm
Connecticut Forest & Park Association
16 Meriden Road, Rockfall, CT 06481
Been there? Done that?
Time to do it again?
Thinking about it?
Is it worth it?
Learn from a panel of your peers about the program and process of Land Trust Accreditation. Representatives from several Connecticut land trusts will discuss the steps they took in preparing to apply, their experiences with the accreditation application, and the benefits of having achieved accredited status. Compare notes on each trust's individual journey. Get answers related to the estimated costs and work hours required. Leave better informed and connected within a CLCC network where some members are accredited (up to 10 as of August 2014!), some are actively preparing, and all know how and where to go when ready to take the next step. This roundtable will be moderated by Connie Manes, CLCC Training & Education Subcommittee Chair. Connie has worked with seven land trusts on accreditation applications since 2010.
This roundtable event is offered free of charge to CLCC members.
