About this session: Ideal for newcomers or those needing a refresher, this workshop will provide an introductory overview of conservation easements, guided by CLCC’s revised model Connecticut Conservation Easement (CE). Intended for use by the state’s land conservation community, the model CE was developed with a goal of standardizing language as much as reasonably possible and permitting adaptation to a broad array of situations. Attorneys Linda Francois and Ailla Wasstrom-Evans will also cover basics of fee transactions and other nuts and bolts of land conservation projects. There will be ample opportunity for Q&A.
