The Long Island Sound Futures Fund, managed by NFWF in collaboration with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Long Island Sound Study, aims to restore and protect the health and living resources of Long Island Sound. The fund supports projects that improve water quality, restore habitats, enhance community resilience, and engage the public in conservation efforts. Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations, state and local government agencies, educational institutions, and tribes. Eligible projects must fall within the boundaries identified by the Watershed Map.
