The Resilient and Connected Appalachians Grant Program provides grants of up to $100,000 to support projects that result in the permanent protection (fee or easement acquisitions) of Resilient and Connected lands in focal landscapes, limited to select towns in Northwest CT. • Project development (appraisals, surveys, title work, baselines, environmental assessments, etc.)
  • Stewardship and legal defense funds (does not include direct stewardship, land management or restoration)
  • Community engagement costs related to project (meeting venue, mailers, supplies, travel, facilitation, etc.)
  • Match for other private or public funding sources
  • Legal support
  • Operational costs (e.g., staff salaries and travel expenses directly associated with the project)
