Other Grant Opportunities

The Rockfall Foundation’s Annual Environmental Grants support nonprofit organizations, municipalities, and schools in the Lower Connecticut River Valley, including Middlesex County, Lyme, and Old Lyme. The grants aim to preserve and enhance the environment and increase public knowledge and respect for natural resources. Projects that demonstrate new and imaginative ways to achieve these goals are encouraged.

Eligible programs/projects/initiatives must relate to one or more of the following priorities:

• Preservation: Protecting ecosystems, species, and natural heritage.
• Conservation: Minimizing the use of finite natural resources and negative environmental impacts.
• Restoration: Re-establishing healthy ecosystem functions.
• Education: Fostering awareness and understanding of environmental and sustainability issues.
