Christmas trees

How’s this for holiday spirit and community service?

For a donation of $15, the Southington Land Conservation Trust picks up town residents’ Christmas trees curbside after the holidays and recycles them into much needed wood chips to be used at a local YMCA camp. The donation also goes directly to the land trust for the purpose of conserving land and wildlife habitats within Southington.
