Community Gardens Program Manager – Green Village Initiative
Green Village Initiative is seeking a productive, energetic, knowledgeable Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse teams, event management, food-growing, and enjoy direct, interpersonal communication with people from all walks of life. This candidate should enjoy working and sharing knowledge while remaining focused on tasks and projects.
The Community Garden Manager will work directly with the GVI team to provide resources to the Community Garden Captains, gardeners and the gardens themselves. This person will at times lead and collaborate with other GVI Team members, volunteers and youth to achieve needs for the program. These needs include garden clean-ups and re-builds, coordinating trainings, sharing about GVI’s work publicly, and meeting with community partners to include them in urban agriculture work around our City.
