Connecticut Farmland Trust (CFT), the only statewide nonprofit exclusively focused on farmland protection, seeks a visionary and experienced Conservation Manager to lead its Farmland Conservation and Stewardship Programs. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Conservation Manager will manage conservation transactions, supervise staff, and collaborate with a broad network of landowners, farmers, and partners to protect working lands and support farm viability across Connecticut.

This is a senior leadership role ideal for a relationship-driven conservation professional with project management experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for agriculture and land protection. The position includes implementing innovative tools like Buy-Protect-Sell, shaping equitable land access strategies, and supporting CFT’s organizational growth during an exciting period of strategic development.
