Education Coordinator – Farmington Land Trust
The part-time Education Coordinator will assist the Farmington Land Trust in developing environmental education programs that fit local school needs and create public education programs for all ages. Together with the education committee, the Education Coordinator will create a 1, 3 and a 5-year educational plan for children and adults, will generate a yearly program calendar, and will assist in teaching programs. The Education Coordinator will work with staff and volunteers to evaluate program effectiveness and assist in writing grants to support future programming.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and some experience in education. Ability to work with classroom teachers, staff, volunteers from the Land Trust as well as other local nonprofits necessary. Experience in or serious interest in environmental studies and strong computer skills required.
