Land Steward to help maintain town-owned open space. Part-time position, 10-15 hours weekly, flexible schedule, hourly salary. Hike trails on a rotating schedule to identify hazards, such as downed trees or overhanging limbs. Complete minor maintenance. Install kiosks, signs, boundary markers, join in work parties. Must be at least 18 years of age and
physically able to hike trails of varying difficulty and terrain. Able to travel to Old Lyme. Bonus: chain saw safety certification, familiarity with GPS and mapping, interest in environmental stewardship and forestry. Applicants to complete job form found at link.
