The FRWA is seeking a candidate to hire to support land conservation and stewardship activities within the Farmington River Watershed. FRWA is actively engaged in land conservation, restoration, and land management activities in cooperation with land owners in the Farmington Valley. We are involved in a diverse range of activities with our project partners and need staff support to help assist and coordinate our activities. FRWA also holds 13 acres of riverfront land in New Hartford and is actively managing this parcel following FRWA’s conservation values.

This candidate would organize and facilitate increased cooperation and information sharing among the Farmington Valley land trusts by hosting regular learning opportunities including regional conservation issues, land trust standards and practices, research, and networking opportunities. This role may also include working with Farmington Valley land trusts on land conservation and stewardship work on their properties through negotiated workplans.
