American Farmland Trust is hiring a New England Policy Manager to lead regional farmland protection and policy advocacy work. This remote position (remote based within 90 minutes of Hartford) will manage Connecticut’s Working Lands Alliance, coordinate multi-state advocacy campaigns, conduct policy research, and build coalitions around farmland protection, land access, climate-smart agriculture, and soil health. We’re seeking someone with 7+ years of policy advocacy experience, strong coalition management skills, and deep knowledge of New England’s food and farm systems. The position involves approximately 20% regional travel and ideally starts mid-February. Salary Range $75 – $80K. Hiring deadline is January 16th.
