The Connecticut Audubon Society’s Deer Pond Farm (DPF) nature preserve is expanding our team to include a Sanctuary Coordinator / Naturalist.

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and maintenance of sanctuary projects. This position works closely with specialty contractors including foresters, arborists, grounds crew, and other environmental specialists to execute existing and new habitat enhancement projects.

The Sanctuary Coordinator / Naturalist will be a highly visible, energetic leader who has a demonstrated passion for people, nature, education, and the environment. As naturalist, you will have an engaging and dynamic presence inspiring people to learn about and care for the natural environment.

As part of the DPF team, you will be involved with many of the operations of Deer Pond Farm with a focus on customer service and land stewardship excellence. This person will collaborate with the office manager and volunteers in support of day-to-day operations and the Director. This position reports to the Deer Pond Farm Director.
