Steep Rock’s trail system consistently ranks among the best in Litchfield County and gets approximately 80,000 visitors per year. SRA’s Landscape Assistant will work primarily with the Trails & Preserves Manager in maintaining our grounds and trails and assist in stewardship projects as needed.

The individual will be responsible for mowing/weed whacking trails and use areas, including the Steep Rock Campus grounds, as well as assisting in campsite management, conservation garden maintenance, and other stewardship-related activities as needed.

This is a part-time (approximately 16 hours per week), seasonal (May-September) position, with work primarily outdoors in myriad weather conditions.
