Dr. Amelia Magistrali (she/her) is the Associate Extension Educator in Soil Health with UConn Extension. Originally from Northwest Connecticut, her work focuses on regenerative and agroecological farming systems that improve soil health and support essential ecosystem services.

Since joining UConn in 2024, she has developed statewide programs that advance climate‑resilient soil management for commercial, small‑scale, and urban growers. She contributes to multiple Extension and partner initiatives, including Solid Ground on‑farm consultations, the Master Gardener introductory soils curriculum, and the CT Envirothon Soils Station. Her program also supports soil testing for farmers and landowners in collaboration with the UConn Soil Nutrient Analysis Laboratory.
