Eileen Fielding is the Director of the Sharon Audubon Center.  Sharon Audubon is the home base of Audubon’s Healthy Forest Initiative in CT, which aims to enhance habitat for forest birds across the state by engaging foresters, landowners, and community members in the effort.  Eileen and other Audubon staff provide bird habitat assessments for land trusts and landowners, and workshops for foresters about bird-friendly silvicultural techniques, and forest management plans. She holds a PhD in Ecology and has taught conservation-related courses in several colleges and universities.
