Elizabeth Hayes
Elizabeth Hayes is a community activist in the Newhall neighborhood of Hamden, where she has spent two decades advocating for the community on multiple issues including a large-scale cleanup in the 2000s of industrial and municipal waste and a legacy of crumbling home foundations. As a neighborhood organizer, she also serves on the Six Lakes Park Coalition steering committee, which is calling for the remediation of 102 acres of open space and the creation of a public park. She is also a member of the Hamden Democratic Town Committee.
