Jamie has extensive experience administering DEEP’s Property Management Review Program, and led updating the 2016 State Green Plan (Comprehensive Open Space Acquisition Strategy).

Also administered through DEEP, she is presently assisting with managing the State Urban Green and Community Garden Grant Program. For several years, she worked under a licensed land surveyor, and she likes finding drill holes, iron rods, stonewalls and other historical signs of people occupying landscapes.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, running, and watching songbirds. She holds a M.S. degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Plymouth State University, where her graduate research focused on grassland nesting bird habitat conservation on privately-owned lands. Her research launched a New England Grasslands Ambassadors outreach program at the Vermont Center for Ecostudies, in the Upper Connecticut River Valley.
