Jason Krumholz

Dr. Jason Krumholz is an Associate Professor at UConn and the Stewardship Coordinator for the Connecticut National Estuarine Research Reserve. He earned his Bachelors in Biology from Lawrence University, in Appleton Wisconsin, a Masters in Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island, and a Ph.D. in Biological Oceanography from the Graduate School of Oceanography at the University of Rhode Island. Prior to joining the Connecticut Reserve, Dr. Krumholz worked with the NOAA Northeast Fisheries Science Center as the Liaison Ecologist to the Long Island Sound Study, and as a Senior Marine Scientist with McLaughlin Research Corporation, in support of the United States Navy’s Mission Environmental Planning and Protection Division.
