Jonathon Savage

Jonathan does training and overall management of a multitude of projects on our farms throughout the city of New Haven. Jonathon is native of New Haven. His education in gardening is rooted in urban farming techniques that he learned through his grandparents, all of which were migrants from the southern US. He has maintained gardens in the city for over 30 years. Throughout Jonathon’s career working with at-risk youth throughout the state, Jonathon always brought his love of growing food to his work, including within the programs or teaching in the classroom. Jonathon’s role at Gather New Haven brings together his lifelong work and his lifelong passion.
