Lisa Hayden is the Outreach Manager at New England Forestry Foundation where she focuses on woodland owner education and partnerships to advance conservation and sustainable forestry. She led a comprehensive landowner outreach project in the 38-town MassConn Woods region, to connect woodland owners with resources to make decisions about long-term conservation and management of their land, including climate change considerations.

A Connecticut native and landowner herself, she served as a member of the Governor’s Council on Climate Change (CT GC3) – Forests Sub-Group, and previously worked with The Nature Conservancy’s forest climate and communications teams.

Lisa holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Connecticut and a MA in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University.
