Lou Memoli
Lou Memoli is the former President of Brookfield Open Space Legacy, Inc (BOSLI), a private land trust founded in 1965. Lou joined BOSLI as Vice President in 2011 and was elected president in 2013. In 2018 BOSLI began the process of merging with Northwest Connecticut Land Conservancy (NCLC) which, at the time, was Weatinoge Heritage Land Trust (WHLT). The merger between BOSLI and WHLT took effect on Oct. 31, 2019. Lou has been an outdoorsman most of his life with a strong interest in ecology and environmental science. Although Lou’s professional career has been in healthcare management and medical devices, his interest in the environment never waned. Lou holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and master degrees in Health Physics and in Health Systems Management. He currently serves as the Chairman of NCLC’s Brookfield Advisory Council.
