Patrick Roy
Patrick Roy grew up in rural Connecticut where his appreciation for the great outdoors began in cub scouts. He is still as awestruck by the beauty of nature and devotion to preserving that beauty for generations to enjoy. The abundant natural landscape and small-town charm is what drew him to Roxbury.
He shares a kinship with Roxbury residents’ desire to preserve the countryside and rural lifestyle. Turning passion to action, he served as a mentor sponsoring over 200 Eagle Scout projects from trail clearing, protection of natural species, and constructed raised gardens for 8 elementary schools educating youth on the importance of organic farming. Serving on the Roxbury Land Trust 2014-2020 was an honor.
