Rory Larson is the Director of Conservation at Steep Rock Association (SRA). His background in Wildlife Ecology includes studies at Humboldt State University, a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maine, and field research throughout the Southwestern and Northeastern United States. At SRA, Rory oversees 6,000 acres of protected land in Washington and neighboring towns, leads land acquisitions and strategic preservation planning, carries out biological- and ecological-based stewardship activities, engages the community in conservation through experiential opportunities and educational programs, and ensures excellence as an LTA-accredited land trust. Rory graduated from the Master Woodland Manager Program in 2023.
