Suzanne Treyger
Suzanne Treyger is the Senior Forest Program Manager for Audubon Connecticut and New York, where she leads strategic forest bird conservation initiatives across both states. In this role, she collaborates with a variety of partners to enhance and protect critical forest habitats, and delivers technical guidance and educational programming to landowners, land managers, and conservation professionals. Suzanne has more than 20 years of experience in bird conservation, and is the lead author of two comprehensive, science-based guides on forest bird habitat management. Her career includes roles with New Jersey Audubon, the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center, New Hampshire Fish and Game’s Nongame and Endangered Species Program, and the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Management from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Science in Forest and Natural Resources Management from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
