Sydney Seldon (she/her) is a UConn sophomore dual-majoring in Environmental Science and is currently proposing an individualized major that explores how to communicate conservation science and policy across inter-cultural divides in communities.

Sydney’s currently serving as a Difference Maker Mentor for the UConn Natural Resource Conservation Academy and as an intern for the Office of Sustainability.

She plans to focus her academic work and subsequent career upon environmental justice and engaging in strategic dialogue to produce genuine understanding and prosperous, long-lasting change in communities.
