Vanessa Daye joined CLCC as the Community Conservation Coordinator in 2025. In this role she connects diverse audiences with recreational opportunities at land trusts across Connecticut. Prior to joining CLCC, Vanessa worked as the Climate Change and Disaster Relief Consultant at the Statewide Legal Services of Connecticut.

Vanessa currently works part-time at the New York Botanical Garden as the Family Programs Supervisor and she will graduate in 2026 with a master’s degree in Environmental Management from the University of Maryland. In her free time she enjoys hiking, biking, and volunteering as a bike mechanic.
