Emely was the 2022-23 Sandy Breslin Conservation Fellow at CLCC. Before coming to CLCC, Emely was a Communication and Narrative Intern at CT Trail Finder, a trail database under UCONN’s Trail Census program. She is currently moving on to her new position as a Community Planner at the Naugatuck Valley Council of Governance.

Emely received her B.A in Political Science and English at UCONN in 2021. She is a May 2023 graduate of UCONN’s Master’s Public Administration program. Her passions lie in conservation, food accessibility, indigenous rights, and climate justice. In her off time, Emely likes to dive into creative writing, painting, and the occasional hiking trip around the many parks in CT.
