Advanced Topics: Land Transactions Q&A

4:15pm - 5:00pm

Land conservation and farmland preservation projects are often complex deals raising tough legal, financial, and governance issues. In this open Q&A session, participants will have an opportunity to ask the advanced questions most pressing to them, including those related to: easement drafting, conflicts of interest, private inurement/private benefit, title searches, appraisals and Form 8283s, surveys and legal descriptions, environmental due diligence and liability, and establishing restricted funds for stewardship and defense…and the list goes on!
