B.3 Resilient Forestry in Practice

Room: TBD
Intermediate Level

Attend this workshop to answer these questions: What is forest resiliency? Why should I consider a resilient forest? How can I pursue sustainable and resilient forestry planning and management? What funding is available for this pursuit? Learn from and meet the key players in sustainable forestry in Connecticut. Experts from CT Department of Energy & Environmental Protection’s Division of Forestry, the New England Forestry Foundation, the Natural Resource Conservation Service, and the CT Land Conservation Council will explain environmentally sustainable forestry, why it matters, and how you can integrate it into your land stewardship goals and management. There is no better time to learn how to take advantage of the unprecedented opportunities to steward your land by promoting forest resilience and environmental sustainability.
