C.5 Creating Wildlife Habitat in an Area Overtaken by Invasive Plants
This discussion is designed to address the challenge many people face of how to effectively eradicate invasive plants, and establish native plants to form a productive habitat for wildlife. The talk will be directed to landowners, and anyone interested in supporting wildlife with native plants and removing invasive plants. We will examine a couple ecological restoration projects we have worked on where the goal has been to remove invasive plants and establish native plants. We will also discuss edible uses for a few of our native plants.
