CT FarmLink Introduction for Land Trusts
Are you a CT land trust that owns or operates farmland? This workshop will be focused on how CT FarmLink, a land access program funded by Connecticut Farmland Trust and the Department of Agriculture, can help your land trust find a reliable farmer to steward your land. We’ll be talking about infrastructure considerations, creating fair leases, and funding opportunities for your land trust. We’ll be joined by farmers and land trust representatives that have successfully leased farmland in Connecticut to share their experiences with you.
Presenter(s)
Kip Kolesinskas, Soil Scientist, Connecticut Farmland Trust
Will O’Meara, Connecticut Field Agent, Land For Good
