Culturally-Relevant Youth Mentorship for Inclusive Environmental Action
Join UConn Natural Resources Conservation Academy faculty and college student near-peer mentors as they share culturally-sustaining environmental education and mentorship practices they use to engage diverse youth in environmental stewardship. This interactive workshop will share multiple strategies for inclusive ways of supporting teens, such as asset framing and cultural awareness.
