In this workshop, Marek will introduce her startup called BirdHabitatBot. The mission of BirdHabitatBot (or BirdBot) is to develop a way to manage invasive plants and keep people out of tick-infested woods while improving wildlife habitat. Marek’s current work involves two invasive plant species: Japanese barberry and multiflora rose. Audience members will learn about her latest research using artificial intelligence, drones, and robotics as invasive plant management tools. Everyone is welcome.
