How Stewardship and Enforcement Inform Transactions

This workshop will focus on transactional considerations informed by local and national trends in easement interpretation and enforcement. Participants will learn practical pointers for project planning, easement negotiations and drafting. The workshop will address 1) changing circumstances ranging from glamping to siting renewables; 2) lessons learned from monitoring, enforcement and litigation; and 3) timeless transactional considerations. The target audience is board members, attorneys, transactional staff, stewardship staff.  The workshop will also include a brief tour of the new and improved Land Trust Alliance Resource Center and will highlight some of the more useful resources therein.
