A.6 Lidar 101: Discover Its Unique Power and Potential
Learn all the basics of Lidar imagery to use this fantastic tool for your baseline reports, stewardship plans and activities. We will explain what Lidar is and how it is created. We will show how to access its images on the free UConn CT Eco website. We will then explore how to use and interpret images on the CT Eco website and in various computer software and phone apps. Lidar imagery brings your property’s current and historical use to light. Once your eyes are open to the world of lidar imagery, you will be eager to see all your properties in a new way.
