National Fish and Wildlife Foundation Funding Opportunities for CT Land Trusts
Simply put, there are a lot of funding opportunities available right now. With historic federal investments in environmental and climate infrastructure, communities and organizations across Connecticut must quickly determine which programs are worth the time and resources associated with putting together a competitive application. In this session, participants will learn about two National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) funding programs that are looking to invest in Connecticut — the Long Island Sound Futures Fund and the National Coastal Resilience Fund. Field Liaisons representing these funds will share basic information about these programs, as well as key “tips and tricks” for submitting a successful proposal. After short presentations, the Field Liaison team will work with attendees to think through project ideas and answer initial proposal-specific questions. Attendees are encouraged, though not required, to come prepared with project ideas to discuss further.
