Primer on State Funding Sources
The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) and Department of Agriculture (CT DoAg) offer a number of grant programs and services to assist land trusts in protecting natural and working lands. Participants will learn about the details of these opportunities. Topics will include CT DEEP’s Open Space and Watershed Land Acquisition and Urban Green and Community Garden Grant Programs. DoAg will provide info on the Farmland Preservation Program, Farmland Restoration Program, CT Farmlink, Farm Viability Program, and new Climate Smart Agriculture and Forestry Program. Bring your questions and come learn about what we can do together!
