A.3 S.P.A.C.E. Suitable Places for All Critters to Exist
Three billion birds gone from the United States and Canada. As much as 85% reduction in insects. An average decline of 70% in wildlife populations worldwide. All animals need enough space to survive and reproduce. Protecting a parcel of land from development is just the first step in keeping our wildlife from disappearing. How do we provide suitable places right here in Connecticut, while also enjoying the benefits of nature? This workshop will cover some basics of wildlife habitat management and highlight the steps we can take to provide suitable places for our native wildlife to exist.
