Workshops
Stewardship Services for Private and Municipal Woodland Owners
Did you know there’s a Service Forester designated to provide information and assistance to woodlot owners throughout Connecticut? Service Foresters are experienced and knowledgeable professionals that support private and municipal woodlot owners by way of education and technical assistance. These professional experts foster woodlot stewardship and management across Connecticut’s urban to rural landscape gradient. Attend this workshop to meet your Service Forester and/or learn what they can do for you to facilitate the stewardship of your, your land trust’s, or your municipality’s woodlot. You’ll become familiar with programs and resources available to you, and may even hear from landowners and land trust members who have already benefited from working with their Service Forester. Our hope is that you’ll leave inspired to manage your woodlot and willing to engage the professional resources available along the way.
Presenter(s)
