Land Trust Treasurers – Join CLCC and your fellow Treasurers for a morning of discussion and networking at the 2022 Land Trust Presidents Summit. 

Part of our Conserving Land by Staying Connected program, these summits foster peer-to-peer networking for a group of individuals serving in a similar capacity in diverse land trusts, who otherwise might not get the opportunity to meet and talk.

This year’s summit will include structured discussion about some of the topics that land Treasurers are currently grappling with, including:

• Ensuring sufficiency of financial resources (building endowments, strategic reserves, and smart budgets)
• Income diversification (opportunities and things to stay away from)
• Investment strategies (how much and where to invest, ESG investing, etc.)
• Succession planning for the Treasurer position
• Other topics of interest

The summits also give CLCC an opportunity to gather information and gain a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Connecticut’s land trusts and their Treasurers.

This program is free for participants representing land trust who are current CLCC members, and is $25 per person for non-members. Breakfast will be provided.
