Program Description

Part of CLCC’s Conserving Land by Staying Connected programs, the Land Trust Executive Directors Summit is an annual gathering of the state’s land trust leaders. The Summit fosters peer-to-peer networking for a state-wide group of individuals serving in a similar capacity in diverse land trusts, and who otherwise might not get the opportunity to meet and talk.

Land trust Executive Directors will have the opportunity to shape the agenda for this program by indicating topics of interest during the registration process. Past summits have provided space for Executive Directors to discuss emerging opportunities, concerns about their organization or role, opportunities for closer networking, and more.

The Summit also gives CLCC an opportunity to gather information and gain a better understanding of the ways we can best support Connecticut’s land trusts and their executive staff.

Program Details

Location: We’ll offer the meeting in a hybrid meeting format, though in-person attendance is strongly encouraged.

• In-person: DeKoven House, 27 Washington Street, Middletown, CT, 06457.
• Online: via Zoom, and connected to our in-person audience using a Meeting Owl.

Registration: Due to the popularity of these summits, advanced registration is required and attendance is limited. Registrations will be announced closer to the event date.

Cost: This program is free for participants from CLCC land trust members, and $25 per person for non-members. Participants from land trusts that are active members of CLCC will receive a promo code through an email invitation.

Food: A light breakfast and lunch will be provided to in-person attendees.
