Greater New Haven Regional Gathering

October 1   |   5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

CLCC invites land trust board members and staff from across the Greater New Haven area to join us for a regional conversation about open space, land conservation, and opportunities for greater connection across municipal boundaries.

This gathering will create space for land trust leaders to connect with one another, share current challenges and opportunities, and explore ways that CLCC, neighboring land trusts, and other conservation partners can better support local conservation efforts across the region.

Agenda

5:30 – 6:30 PM: Regional Water Authority(opens in new tab) staff will provide a tour of their state-of-the-art water treatment plant, and discuss the roles of watersheds and conservation efforts in securing clean drinking water for the region.

6:30 – 8:00 PM: We will have dinner and a loosely-structured conversation, aimed at better understanding how we can accelerate the rate and impact of land conservation efforts.

If you are unable to join us for the tour, we still welcome you to attend the second half of the meeting for group discussion.

This program is intended primarily for land trust board members and staff within the Greater New Haven area. Dinner will be provided.
