Combining EPA and OSWA funds for up to 90% of project cost…

The EPA Long Island Sound Study is providing additional funding to land trusts and municipalities for coastal land acquisition. Applications will be solicited through the OSWA grant program. Interested OSWA applicants should indicate interest in their applications. Qualifying projects will be reviewed by CT DEEP staff. This funding can be combined with OSWA funds for up to 90% of project cost.

Eligibility is broad. Although priority will be given to those in the Long Island Sound coastal region, projects may be located anywhere within the watershed and meet the following program themes:

  • Clean Waters and Healthy Watersheds
  • Thriving and Abundant Wildlife
  • Sustainable and Resilient Communities
