Mission
The mission of the Bethel Land Trust is to conserve and steward land in Bethel for walking, contemplation and enjoyment and as unspoiled habitat for plants and animals.
We do this by working with land owners to establish conservation easements, facilitate land donations and acquire land with conservation value.
A board of directors manages the land trust. As a local organization, we coordinate efforts with the region’s other land trusts and participate in a statewide land trust association organized by The Connecticut Land Conservation Council.
