Eric Lindquist
Griswold
A life-long resident of Griswold, Eric is passionate about the outdoors and natural resource conservation. He is currently a planning specialist for the Connecticut Department of Public Health, where he works to ensure the safety and adequacy of Connecticut’s drinking water supplies. In his previous role at the Office of Policy and Management from 2014-2022, he balanced conservation and development policies in plans directing state-funded projects. He has prior experience in fisheries management with the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and has conducted field work in dozens of towns and waterbodies across the state, leading him to develop a first-hand appreciation of Connecticut’s unique landscapes and the need to protect sensitive natural areas.
In his free time, Eric enjoys boating, fishing, hiking, and undertaking home improvements. He volunteers on the Griswold and Preston town committee for Avalonia Land Conservancy. Eric earned his B.S. in Environmental Geoscience from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2012.
