Melissa joined CLCC in 2026 as Development Manager. She brings more than a decade of experience working in museums and cultural institutions across New York City, most recently at the American Museum of Natural History. Through her work, she developed a passion for making history and shared resources accessible and meaningful to the people they serve.

Melissa holds a master’s degree in Museum Anthropology, an MBA, and a bachelor’s degree in Education. Her interdisciplinary background brings together experience in education, museum work, and nonprofit leadership.

Having returned to Connecticut, Melissa is excited to bring her background to Connecticut Land Conservation Council, where she is especially interested in connections between people, history, and the environment, and in building support for protecting Connecticut’s landscapes for future generations.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys knitting and exploring Connecticut’s shoreline.
