Rebecca Neary joined the CLCC board in 2018. She received her BA in International Relations from Tufts and her MA in International Affairs and PhD in Russian History from Columbia University. Previously, she taught Russian, Eastern European, and European Women’s History at Drew University. Rebecca is the co-chair of the Tufts President’s Council and was elected to Tufts University’s Board Of Trustees in 2019.
She is the president of the Warren Land Trust in Litchfield County, CT and serves on the boards of the Warren Historical Society and Housatonic Valley Association. She loves the serenity of Warren’s woods, meadows, and farmland. Rebecca enjoys running, hiking, and biking. She is married to Jim Neary, with whom she has two children, Kira and Will.
